Hilarious Pictures

So I couldn't help but post these pictures. Andrew came home one night with a Santa hat and reindeer ears for the dogs. We put both on them and they hated it, they ran away and pawed them off their heads. One Sunday I decided to try to make them pose with them on. I didn't think I would get very far but I would try. So I put the Santa hat on Sophie and told her to stay (which I had to keep repeating over and over to make her do it). Then I put the reindeer ears on Maggie and told her to stay (and also kept repeating). Then I grabbed the camera and took the first shot. The when I realized they were going to actually stay put I moved Maggie closer to Sophie for a real picture. As you can see I laughed my butt off after going back to look at the pictures. They look like they are hating me at that moment! I think this might be one for the Christmas cards next year!

Seriously mom! this sucks!

I really hate this.... come on!

Are we done yet, you have humiliated me enough!

Merry Christmas... late

We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and happy New Year! We headed to Nebraska for Christmas this year. This was the first Christmas back since we moved to Texas. I know that our family was so happy to have us. We of course knew that we were headed into the winter wonderland but had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. We did beat the storm but ended up getting snowed in for a couple of days. The storm arrived in a big way! It started snowing on Christmas Eve (just like it had in TX) and didn't stop until late Sunday. So we spent Christmas Eve with my parents and Christmas Day with Andrew's Family. It was so fun at my parents but it was crazy... between 4 kids, 5 dogs and 9 adults!

The kids were so fun watching them open their gifts! Below are some picks!

Below are some pictures of all the snow!

Andrew's grandma from California was also visiting while we were there. It was nice to be able to spend some time with her. We also took our annual family photo. The dogs did a great job traveling.

We ended up getting home on Sunday, just in time for Andrew to go back to work. He ended up getting sick on the way home which made the trip even longer. Running into some traffic made a 10 hour drive into a 12 hour drive. Needless to say we were happy to be home! Hope this year brings many blessings to you and your family!
